KILLEEN (August 23, 2013)--Aegis Limited, a global outsourcing and technology services company, announced Friday it plans to hire 500 workers for its contact center in Killeen during a two-day job fair next week.
The company announced last month it would add a total of 1,400 jobs at the Killeen facility over a period of four months.
In all, the company said it plans to add 5,000 jobs in the U.S.
The job fair is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. next Wednesday and Thursday at the contact center at 777 North Twin Creek Drive.
Applications will be accepted in person or through the company’s employment website.
The company said it will hire customer service specialists and sales representatives during the job fair.
“These are regular positions with a full benefits package,” the company said in its announcement.
The 30-year-old company, which announced in May 2010 it was purchasing the Sallie Mae facility in Killeen, has operations at 56 sites in 13 countries and more than 55,000 employees.
