WACO (January 1, 2014) Waco police were looking Wednesday for two men who walked into a local convenience store and robbed it at gunpoint before dawn.

At around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, the two men walked into the 7-Eleven store in the 800 block of South 5th Street.

One pulled out a pistol, and then they demanded cash from the register, police said.

One man was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans, the other a was wearing black hooded sweatshirt and blue sweat pants, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

After the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, both men fled the store on foot, Swanton said.

Swanton said the clerk said both men covered their faces so he was not sure of their race.
