TEMPLE (August 24, 2012)—Temple police were awaiting autopsy results Friday after a man’s body was found in a field and wooded area in the 2500 block of South 5th Street not far from the campuses of both Temple College and the Temple VA Medical Center.
The discovery of the body was reported at around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The man had been dead for some time, police said Friday, and his identity must be confirmed through the autopsy.
Investigators found no obvious signs of foul play, police said Friday.
