WACO (June 18, 2014) Brayson Garcia, 20, of Waco, was free on bond Wednesday after he was arrested on a warrant stemming from the sexual assault of a girl younger than 15 that occurred in a restroom at a local church.

Garcia was arrested on Tuesday, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

The charge stems from an incident that happened between June 30 and July 2, 2013, at a North Waco church, Swanton said.

The victim made an outcry and submitted to a forensic interview with investigators from Waco's Child Advocacy Center, Swanton said.

The affidavit for the arrest warrant says the victim was lured into a restroom at the church where she was sexually assaulted.

Swanton said the victim told investigators she knew her attacker.
