TEMPLE (November 16, 2012)—Vernon Keith Gibson, 49, of Temple, died early Friday when his pickup truck veered off FM 93 and collided with a tree, police said.
The accident happened at around 1:20 a.m. Friday in the 5600 block of West FM 93.
Gibson was eastbound on FM 93 when his Chevrolet pickup left the north side of the road and hit the tree, police said.
Gibson was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was alone in the truck.
