Local Man Indicted For Continuous Sexual Abuse Of A Child

WACO (July 26, 2012)--A Waco man was indicted Wednesday, two years after his arrest, for continuous sexual abuse of a child and indecency with a child.

Eddie Johnny McAdams, 22, was named in on one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child and one count of indecency with a child by contact.

McAdams was arrested July 19, 2010 by police in Mexia and was later transferred to the McLennan County Jail.

He later posted bond and was released.

McAdams is charged in connection with the May 2009 aggravated sexual assault of a 13-year-old Waco girl.

Waco police officer Steve Anderson told News 10 the victim reported she knew her attacker.

The assault allegedly happened at a home in West Waco.
