Local Man Injured In Dump Truck Accident

Dump truck flips over northeast of Temple.

BELL COUNTY (September 10, 2012)-- A 62-year-old man is in the hospital with a head injury after the dump truck he was driving flipped over.

DPS officials say he was traveling eastbound on FM 438, northeast of Temple, when he appears to have drifted off the road and over corrected, causing the dump truck to flip over.

The dump truck belongs to the Bell County Road Department.

Officials are still investigating the accident.
