WACO (July 29, 2013)-A missing Waco man who suffers from dementia has been found safe in Houston and was headed home on Monday.
A Houston-area police officer spotted Jesse James Moore, 73, at a gasoline station Monday in Houston.
Moore’s wife reported missing at around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, that her husband and the couple’s car were both missing, according to a news release issued by Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.
Moore's wife said he suffers from dementia, Swanton said.
Moore was driving the couple's car and had stopped to buy gas when he was found.
Swanton said Monday arrangements were being made to bring both Moore and his car home.
