WACO (January 3, 2014) A Killeen woman was held Friday in the McLennan County Jail facing several charges stemming from an investigation of an alleged check theft and forgery scheme.
Patricia Kim Roberts, 37, was facing three forgery charges, three theft charges and was also held on a parole violation, online jail records showed.
The charges stem from an alleged scheme in which checks were stolen from a financial institution in Burleson, forged, and then cashed at a Waco credit union, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Friday.
She was arrested on Dec. 4 in Bell County on warrants out of Waco and McGregor, the jail log showed.
