Local Woman Kidnapped, Drugged; Wakes Up In New Braunfels

KILLEEN (January 23, 2013)—Police in Killeen are investigating a report from a 21-year-old woman who told officers she awoke in her car in New Braunfels hours after three men kidnapped and drugged her.

The woman told officers she was getting out of her car to go to work at around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of Central Texas Expressway in Killeen when the three men got out of a nearby vehicle, forced her back in her car and made her take an unspecified narcotic.

She told officers she passed out after taking the drug and woke up just after 3 p.m. Tuesday in her car in New Braunfels.

She was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

Killeen investigators are working with police in New Braunfels on the case, police said Wednesday.

No other details were immediately released.
