BELTON (February 25, 2014) Carol Ann Byron of Belton has claimed a $2 million Powerball prize, the Texas Lottery said Tuesday.
Byron bought a quick-pick ticket at an H-E-B store in Fredericksburg for the Feb. 15 drawing and selected the optional Power Play feature.
Her ticket matched all of the numbers drawn except for the Powerball, which qualified her for a $1 million prize, but the award was doubled because she selected the Power Play option, the Lottery said.
