COPPERAS COVE (June 18, 2012)-- Jansin Ching Moss, 32, was in the Coryell County Jail Monday, charged with arson, after his mother’s house was set on fire.

His bond was set at $10,000.

Police saw smoke coming from the house on Sherry Lane in Copperas Cove Friday night after responding a report about a domestic disturbance between a man and his mother.

Firefighters were called and doused a burning mattress they said was set on fire intentionally.

Moss' mother fled the house and was staying at a neighbor's home while the fire was put out.

Damage to the home was minimal and no one was injured.

Police say both Moss and his mother were living at the residence.
