Man Beaten In Neighborhood Robbery Remains In Local Hospital

WACO (March 20, 2014) A Waco man remained in a local hospital Thursday after he was beaten during a robbery.

The victim, whose name was not released, suffered serious head injuries during the holdup at around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on South 12th Street in Waco, police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Information about his condition wasn’t available Thursday.

Officers found the victim after responding to a report of a fight involving a large number of people.

Raymone Montreal Robinson, 24, was arrested in connection with the incident.

He was in the McLennan County Jail Thursday, facing a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
