Central Texas Man Killed in Rollover Accident

CORYELL COUNTY (August 24, 2013) -- Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating after an early morning rollover accident.

The accident occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. on State Highway 36, 4 miles north of Gatesville.

Trooper D.L. Wilson reports a 2006 Dodge car was traveling southbound on Highway 36 when it over-corrected, crossed into the northbound lane, and slammed into a 2013 Nissan SUV.

The Nissan flipped over several times.

The driver of the Nissan, 37-year-old Nathaniel Graham of Hamilton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His wife, 37-year-old Sharla Graham, was transported to Scott & White Hospital in Temple along with the couples two children.

They were all listed in fair condition late Saturday night.

The driver of the Dodge car, 42-year-old Lisa Truitt of Gatesville, was transported to Coryell Memorial Hospital in Gatesville.

She was listed in fair condition late Saturday night.

The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
