WACO (August 21, 2014) A Glen Rose man was sentenced to federal prison on Wednesday after he earlier pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography.

Federal District Judge Walter S. Smith, Jr., sentenced Justin David Burrow to serve 87 months in federal prison on two counts of the charge, to be served concurrently.

Smith also ordered Burrow to serve five years on supervised release on each count, also to be served concurrently.

Then Smith ordered Burrow to pay a total of $1,000 in fines and $100 in special assessment to the court.

A federal arrest affidavit shows a Sommervell County Sheriff's deputy initiated an investigation after he learned that a 14-year-old local girl had been involved sexually with a 30-year-old man.

During the course of the investigation the deputy seized the girl's school computer and on it found emails to the suspect and inappropriate self-photos of the girl, as well as video of her performing sexual acts, the affidavit said.

On March 6 deputies served a search warrant at a residence in Glen Rose where they found two cellular telephones and seized them.

Forensic examiners with the U.S. Secret Service field office in Waco were able to find both images and videos of child pornography on the seized cell phones, the affidavit said.
