MCGREGOR (June 17, 2014) A man who was shocked while working on a power line Tuesday morning just off U.S. Highway 84 in McGregor was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Coryell Memorial Hospital Services EMS Director Jeffrey Mincy said paramedics were sent to the entrance of the Trane Company, on U.S. Highway 84, in McGregor, just before 11:10 a.m. Tuesday.
CPR was being performed as paramedics arrived at the scene, according to emergency radio traffic.
Mincy said the man was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center and was conscious and talking when he arrived at the emergency room
The man works for a power line construction company, but no other details were immediately available.
