WACO (November 12, 2012)—Police Monday identified a man who was shot after a fight that started in a popular downtown Waco nightclub spilled outside as Pedro Rodriguez, 23.
As officers were responding at around 12:45 a.m. Sunday to a report of a large fight inside Treff’s Bar and Grill at 520 Austin Ave., the fight spilled into the parking lot and a shot was fired at a group of people who were standing in the 500 block of Austin, police said.
Rodriguez was hit in the abdomen and was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in a private vehicle, police said.
The men who took Rodriguez to the hospital dropped him off and then left, police said.
Information about his condition wasn’t available Monday.
Investigators have no suspects in the shooting, police said.
