Man Shot In Stomach In Stable Condition

KILLEEN (August 17, 2012)--Killeen Police said Friday night a man is in stable condition after he was shot in the stomach.

Killeen Police Spokeswoman Carroll Smith told News 10 a man and a woman were standing on Alan Kent Drive in Killeen when a car pulled up.

A person got out of the car and shot the man in a stomach. He then fled in the car.

The man was taken to Scott & White Hospital in Temple and is in stable condition as of Friday night.
