WACO (June 30, 2014) Authorities have released the name of the man killed after he was run over by a truck his wife was driving.
Jose Luis Medina, 27, died at a local hospital Saturday night after a pickup truck struck him in a North Waco neighborhood.
The accident happened at around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of Cumberland Avenue.
Medina was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center where he died.
The driver of the truck that struck Medina was his wife Jocelyn Zepeda, Waco police Officer Steve Anderson said in a news release.
Investigators say Zepeda told them she and the victim were having an argument when she decided to leave.
Officers say they believe Medina jumped on the side of the truck as Zepeda was leaving and he fell and was run over by the vehicle, Anderson said.
The Waco Police Department is still investigating this accident.
No arrests have been made.
