KILLEEN (January 17, 2014) Terrance Lamont Davis, who was wanted in the shooting death of tattoo artist Andrew Fortune in 2011 in Lithonia, Ga., was in the Bell County Jail Friday after federal and local authorities arrested him Thursday in Killeen.

Fortune, 27, was shot to death in August 2011 during a robbery at his Atlanta-area home.

Davis was named in a warrant issued in December.

Investigators learned earlier this month that Davis had fled to Killeen and on Thursday they determined he was staying in a house in the 6400 block of Titanium Drive in Killeen.

He was arrested Thursday evening after driving off from the house.

Officers from the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, the Bell County Organized Crime Unit and the Killeen and Harker Heights Police Departments were involved in the arrest.

Davis will be returned to Georgia, authorities said.
