LEAKEY (October 8, 2012)--A suspect in a South Texas double murder in which a girl was wounded has been found dead in what evidently was a suicide.
The Real County Sheriff's Office says the body of Robert Bryan Jones, 52, was found Sunday in a ravine on his property near Leakey.
County Judge Garry Merritt says Jones evidently shot himself.
Authorities say a man and a woman were shot to death and a girl was wounded Saturday afternoon in an area near where Jones was found dead.
The sheriff's office on Monday did not immediately provide names of the slain adults and the injured child or any relationships
