Man, Woman Pass Counterfeit Cash At Local Businesses

TEMPLE (August 8, 2012)—Temple police were looking Wednesday for a man and a woman who have passed counterfeit $5 and $20 bills at several local businesses.

Police have received at least three reports from businesses in Temple that received the counterfeit currency.

The serial number on all of the $20 bills was the same, GF75487397C.

The man and woman may be driving a gray or silver extended-cat Ford Ranger pickup or a similar small pickup, police said.

They’re both white.

The man is thin, in his late 20s to early 30s, and has been seen wearing a black shirt.

The woman is also in her late 20s to early 30s.

Police are urging businesses to examine the cash they receive carefully and to report any bills that might be counterfeit.
