WACO (June 15, 2012)—Robert Dale Clark, 32, of Morgan Mill, was in the McLennan County Jail Friday charged in connection with what police say was a fraudulent invoice scheme in which a local company was bilked out of more than $10,000 for cattle that weren’t actually delivered.

Clark is named in complaints charging theft over $1,500, but under $20,000 and theft by check.

His bonds total $6,000.

Clark was arrested in Tom Green County on warrants stemming from an investigation that started after H&B Packing Co. of Waco reported on March 2 that it had received and paid several invoices that indicated cattle were delivered to the plant only to discover later that it paid $10,344.60 for cattle it never actually received.
