WACO (February 22, 2012)--Glen Edward Pilley, 55, who police say is a registered sex offender, pleaded guilty Wednesday to indecency with a child by contact (enhanced) in an incident in July 2011 in which an 8-year-old girl was fondled at a Waco H-E-B store.
Pilley was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
A witness told officers a man was following the girl and her grandmother in the store at 3801 North 19th St. and said the man twice touched the girl inappropriately while the grandmother wasn't looking.
After the man walked off, the witness told the grandmother what had happened, police said.
The girl confirmed to her grandmother that she had been groped moments earlier, police said.
Pilley was arrested inside the store, police said.
