WACO (October 24, 2012)--A Bellmead man was in McLennan County Jail Wednesday after he was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a robbery at a local nightspot.

Robert Fuentes, 59, was ordered held on a $100,000 bond charged with aggravated robbery.

Bellmead police were sent at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Quittin' Time Club in Bellmead after a caller reported that a masked man armed with a handgun had entered the club and ordered everyone to get down on the floor.

He then rifled the register, and ran out the club's back door with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say the man ran to a nearby trailer park.

McLennan County Sheriff Deputies, Bellmead Police, and Lacy Lakeview Police led the manhunt and thoroughly searched the trailer park.

Officers arrested a man they found hiding in a wooded area near the trailer park.

Witnesses who work at the club identified the robber.

Police say the man ditched his gun and the cash he stole during the manhunt.
