Waco Stabbing Victim Dies

WACO (June 13, 2014) Police were looking for a man and a woman Friday after another man was stabbed in a fight that started inside Waco’s popular Gospel Cafe spilled into the street.

Tamar Hinley was stabbed in the chest and was pronounced dead Friday afternoon at a Waco hospital.

Hinley and the man who stabbed him got into an argument at around 1 p.m.Friday inside the Gospel Cafe in the 1000 block of Cleveland Avenue, took the dispute outside and began to fight in the street, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Officers at the scene said a woman was also a party to the dispute.
