BLUM (February 15, 2013)--Hill County deputies raided a mobile home Thursday just south of Blum, seized what authorities described as a significant amount of drugs, and arrested one man.
Hill County Sheriff's Lt. Kyle Cox said deputies raided the mobile home at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on Oak Run Road, just south of Blum, armed with a search warrant for methamphetamine.
The deputies seized what Cox said was a significant amount of the drug and arrested Shane Arrington, 35, who was held Friday in the Hill County Jail awaiting bond.
He’s facing charges of possession of controlled substance more than 4 grams, but less than 200 grams and theft of property more than $20,000, but less than $100,000, a jail records clerk said.
Cox said the search was the culmination of a lengthy investigation by Hill County deputies.
