CEDAR PARK (May 7, 2014) Police were looking Wednesday for a man who was wearing a black miniskirt when he was caught on security video breaking into a bank in Cedar Park, splashing liquid on the carpet and setting the building on fire.
The break-in happened Sunday night at Lone Star Bank, which received minor damage in the fire.
Police Cmdr. Bryan Wukasch said it's pretty clear that the man's intent was to commit arson.
Police don't believe he stole anything.
Investigators are trying to determine if the case is linked to several other fires this year in Cedar Park, 15 miles north of Austin.
An alarm led emergency responders to the fire, which had burned itself out.
