MISSOURI CITY (January 3, 2012)--Houston-area woman with a form of autism who evidently wandered away from her group home has been found unharmed.
Christina "Pinky" Mordente, 26, was found Monday night as she walked along a road after a caller reported seeing a woman who appeared to be lost, Missouri City police said.
Authorities say Mordente, who has Asperger Syndrome and takes medication, had been missing since Sunday night.
Family members say Mordente has the mental capacity of a young teenager.
