DALLAS (August 6, 2014) Firefighters were using ladders Wednesday to retrieve people stranded on a stalled monorail at the Dallas Zoo.
The monorail stalled Wednesday, stranding about 50 zoo visitors,
Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said.
No injuries were reported.
The aging monorail has a history of malfunctions.
Nearly 100 people were stranded when it stalled in February.
In recent years it's malfunctioned on at least two other occasions, each time requiring emergency workers using ladders to rescue passengers.
