Motorcycle Rider Killed In Crash On Rural Road Identified

BOSQUE COUNTY (April 13, 2014) A motorcycle rider died Saturday afternoon when his bike left a rural road in Bosque County and crashed into a barbed wire fence.

Authorities identified the rider as Jerry Don McGhee.

The accident happened just after 2 p.m. Saturday eight miles southwest of Clifton on FM 219.

McGhee was headed east when he failed to negotiate a curve and the motorcycle left the road.

McGhee was pronounced dead at the scene.
