AXTELL (November 23, 2012) -- Authorities are investigating after a motorcycle rider was flown to a local hospital after an accident.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motorcycle and Jeep collided at around 8 p.m. Friday on westbound Highway 31 at Farm to Market 2311 in Axtell.
The motorcycle rider's name and condition weren't available.
It was not immediately known if any other injuries were reported.
As of 10 p.m. Friday the Texas Department of Public Safety was still on the scene.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
