Motorcycle Rider Flown To Local Hospital After Collision With Car

KILLEEN (February 22, 2012)—A motorcycle rider whose bike collided with a car after the driver turned into his path Wednesday afternoon in Killeen was flown to Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

The man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was riding east on Rancier Avenue when the driver of a Chevrolet Caprice turned into his path at the intersection with Gilmer Street.

Information about the motorcyclist’s injuries wasn’t immediately available.

The driver of the car wasn’t injured.

Police were diverting traffic in the area of the accident Wednesday afternoon.
