TEMPLE (August 14, 2012)—A leak in a high-pressure natural gas line in Temple led to some street closures Tuesday evening.

The southbound side of the 4100 block of South 5th Street and Canyon Creek from Lowes Drive to South 5th were closed to traffic, officials said.

The leak occurred after a vehicle struck a gas meter.

No one was hurt and no evacuations were ordered.

An Atmos repair crew stopped the leak at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
