ABBOTT (November 6, 2012)--A northbound truck tractor, semi-trailer overturned Tuesday evening near Abbott and forced closure of the Interstate while crews cleaned up the mess.

The accident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, a communications officer said.

All northbound traffic was being rerouted onto the service road south of mile marker 358.

The truck driver escaped injury, according to Department of Public Safety troopers at the scene.

The trooper told the Waco communications office the trailer was fully loaded and would have to be emptied before it could be righted.

The trailer was loaded with Coca-Cola.

The highway reopened at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
