Officers Kill Dog That Was Attacking Texas Teenager

FORT WORTH (December 7, 2013) Fort Worth officers shot and killed a dog that was attacking a teenager, police spokesman Capt. Charles Ramirez said.

Estrado Alfono, 18, was treated for injuries suffered early Friday when he was attacked by three pit bull mixes.

One dog was shot.

The two others were taken away by animal control officers.

A police report showed that the 61-year-old owner of the dogs has been issued citations by animal control officers.

It was the second time in a week police have shot attacking dogs.

On Tuesday, three pit bull mixes were killed after attacking a man and his daughter.
