FAIRFIELD (September 10, 2012)-Officials were called to the scene of an accident at mile marker 206 on I-45 about 8 miles north of Fairfield at 1:37 p.m. Monday afternoon.

38-year-old Johnny L. Reffitt was driving an 18-wheeler north on I-45 when he came upon a construction vehicle painting roadway lines.

The construction vehicle, driven by 39-year-old Humble resident Marcus Douglas Martin, was stopped with its caution lights on when Reffitt hit it from behind.
