AUSTIN (January 28, 2014) Firefighters rescued one person early Tuesday from a second-floor balcony of a burning apartment complex in Austin.
The fire broke out early Tuesday at the three-story complex, firefighters said.
Lt. Andre de la Reza said the person was about to jump when firefighters reached the balcony.
Authorities are trying to determine the cause of the fire that damaged the 12-unit building.
More than a dozen people were displaced.
The fire was brought under control before dawn Tuesday.
