LORENA (August 25, 2012)- A one car accident had Interstate traffic backed up Saturday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. a small SUV ran off the road and hit a concrete median and then rolled over on the southbound side of I-35 near Lorena.

The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The woman was driving too fast which may have caused her to loose control of the vehicle, police said.

Traffic was backed up on the southbound side of the Interstate for a few miles while DPS crews cleared the scene.
