WACO (September 13, 2012)—Waco police released grainy security camera photos Thursday of one of the two men who robbed a local convenience store at gunpoint late Sunday night.
The robbery was reported at around 10:25 p.m. Sunday at Tommy’s convenience store at 3601 Marlin Highway.
The clerk told officers that two men entered the store, approached the counter, displayed handguns and demanded money and cigarettes.
They escaped with an undisclosed of amount of cash and merchandise.
The man who appears in the photos that were released Thursday is black, about 30 years old, weighs about 150 pounds and stands about 5-foot-8.
He was wearing short sleeve blue, black and white striped shirt and brown sunglasses.
The other man was also black, in his early 20s, weighs about 170 pounds and stands about 5-foot-10.
He was wearing a gray T-shirt and black sunglasses.
The two men fled in an unknown direction.
The clerk wasn’t hurt.
