HOUSTON (March 12, 2014) A US Airways jet bound from Tampa, Fla., to Phoenix safely diverted to Houston after a baby on board stopped breathing.
A passenger said the baby appeared to stop breathing after suffering what evidently was a seizure.
A doctor on board the plane and a second person performed what the passenger said appeared to be CPR and the infant started breathing again.
The baby was stable when the plane landed Tuesday night at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
The infant was taken to a Houston hospital.
