EL PASO (January 14, 2013)—Jacob Alejandro Martinez, 23, was jailed Monday, charged in an incident in which an underage girl was tricked into having sex with the promise of help in becoming an adult film star.
An El Paso police statement says Martinez posted a classified ad on the Internet site Craigslist in hopes of recruiting aspiring porn actresses.
The girl responded to the ad and Martinez eventually had sex with her, the statement said.
Martinez was arrested Jan. 10 and remained in the El Paso County Jail Monday in lieu of $50,000 bond charged with sexual performance by a child and a probation violation.
