Police, FBI Searching For Man Who Robbed Local Bank

Local and federal authorities are looking for a man who robbed a local bank.

TEMPLE (April 27, 2013)- Temple Police and the FBI are looking for a man who robbed a local bank Saturday morning.

A man walked into the Compass Bank at 11:51 a.m. Saturday pulled out a gun and demanded money, police said.

After the suspect got his hands on the cash he took off in a white, newer model 4-door vehicle and headed east on Avenue M, police said.

Police describe the suspect as a black male between the ages of 25-35.

He is between 6 feet and 6 feet 5 inches tall, police said.

He weighted between 170-190 pounds, police said.

Police say he was last seen wearing gloves, sunglasses, a light colored pull over style hooded sweatshirt with the word "SOUTHPOLE", a number beginning with "2" on the front, and dark colored pants.
