Police Identify Texas Woman Found Dead In Burned Vehicle

DALLAS (December 21, 2012)--The death of a woman whose body was found in a burned vehicle has been ruled a homicide, Dallas police said Friday.

Police identified the victim as Jerie Ann McCloud, 36, of The Colony, but did not immediately name any suspects or release a possible cause of death.

Emergency personnel night responded Thursday night to a report about a vehicle on fire.

McCloud's body was discovered after the fire was extinguished.

Further details of the investigation weren't immediately released.
