DALLAS (February 24, 2013)--Dallas police were looking Sunday for a hit-and-run driver in the death of a 44-year-old man who was struck and dragged for about 125 feet.
Police say the unidentified victim was pushing a shopping cart across a street at around 2:14 a.m. Saturday when a vehicle struck him.
The man, who suffered injuries to his head and body, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness told officers the driver of the vehicle that hit the man stopped briefly before fleeing the scene.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a yellow or orange or gold pick-up truck.
