Missing Killeen Woman, Husband Found After Suspected Abduction

A Killeen woman police think may have been abducted during a domestic dispute was taken to a hospital and her husband was arrested on outstanding warrants after the two turned up at the Llano County Sheriff’s Office.

KILLEEN (July 2, 2014) A Killeen woman police think may have been abducted during a domestic dispute just before 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Missouri Avenue was taken to a hospital and her husband was arrested on outstanding warrants after the two turned up Tuesday night at the Llano County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses to the incident Tuesday identified the woman as Jessyca Lauren Hartzler Shannon, 26, and the man as her husband, Wesley Bo Shannon, 19, police spokeswoman Carroll Smith said.

The two showed up at the sheriff’s office Tuesday night with
Wesley Shannon’s father, Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn said Wednesday.

Jessyca Shannon appeared to have been beaten and was taken to Scott & White Llano Hospital, he said.

She was evidently attacked in San Saba where her husband’s family lives, he said.

Wesley Shannon was arrested on unrelated theft and burglary warrants from Coryell and Bell Counties and was jailed in lieu of $200,000 bond, Blackburn said.

No charges have been filed in connection with the incident Tuesday, he said.
