AUSTIN (July 31, 2014) Police in Austin police were searching Thursday for a someone who they say has been hurling large rocks at cars on Interstate 35.
At least two people were hit by the rocks during four incidents that occurred between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
On June 14 a rock smashed through a windshield and left a man with critical injuries on his face and skull.
Police say the man has brain damage and could need care for the rest of his life.
Three other incidents were reported Sunday, in one of which a woman received minor injuries.
