WACO (May 20, 2014) Waco police were looking for a driver Tuesday after a hit-and-run auto-pedestrian accident Monday afternoon left a 12-year-old boy injured.
The accident was reported at around 4:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of J J Flewellen Road, near Carver Middle School, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
The boy received only minor injuries, Swanton said, and he was taken by private car to a local hospital where he was checked out and then released.
There were conflicting descriptions of the car that was involved, Swanton said.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call (254) 750-7500, Swanton said.
