Police Search For Suspect After Local Sonic Robbed

TEMPLE (December 22, 2012)—Police are looking for a suspect after a Sonic restaurant was robbed just after 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Officers responded to a robbery at the Sonic Restaurant, located at 7150 West Adams Avenue.

According to reports, employees were at the restaurant preparing to open for breakfast when a man entered the restaurant from the west holding a gun.

The man demanded and then received an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot in the same direction he came from.

Officer searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a tall, heavy-set black male. He was last seen wearing a black and white plaid jacket with a white hood and dark pants.

No one was injured.
