KILLEEN (July 23, 2013)—Police asked for the public’s help Tuesday in identifying a man who used a stolen tablet to photograph himself in a bathroom mirror.
The tablet was stolen in a home burglary on May 30 in the 800 block of Crockett Drive in Killeen, police said.
In one of the photos, the man can be seen holding the device as he stands in front of the mirror.
Police did not provide details about how the photos were transmitted and recovered, but the tablet may have been programmed to back up photos automatically through a remote server.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
